Manage license

Forgot your key or got a new device? Here you can see your license key and release devices you no longer use.

Good to know

• Each key works on up to three devices. To add a new device, enter your key in musaik; it needs to be online once. If all three seats are taken, musaik offers to release one right away.
• Once activated, musaik works offline. About 20 days after purchase it confirms the license online once – silently in the background as soon as you are online anyway. After that an occasional connection is enough; if it is missing for longer, musaik only shows a notice and keeps working. Only a key that has been revoked (e.g. after a refund) is locked.
• If you have several keys (e.g. Mashup and Edit), activate them one after another; each key has its own three seats.
• You can also release devices directly in musaik, from any of your activated computers (Settings › License › Devices…).
• This page allows three releases per key within 30 days. If you need more, write to us via the contact form.
• The sign-in email from this page never contains your key, only the link. You see the key here on this page after signing in.
